The Flags of Malta
inThe Island of Malta is famous for its Knights, but on a recent trip I realised that they just love flags, lots of them, huge, biggest I have ever seen, and beautiful. they fly them during the Festas, and add to the colour with marching bands, religious statues and fireworks.
I think the flag flying follows a long tradition of icons and graphic symbols as part of the Maltese culture, the most recognisable of which is the Maltese Cross.
Finally to bring it all home, Construct is a stones throw from St John's Square, home of the Order of St John, the remnants of the Medieval Knights!
