Suspiria

Dario Argento's 'Suspiria', made in 1977, is a stunning film about an American ballet dancer who is accepted into a prestigious European dance school. It soon becomes apparent that it is a cover for more supernatural events.

The film shows Argento's use colour in an amazing way. A palette of intense red and blue throughout the film signifies the distorted, almost psychedelic, occult atmosphere.
