Works directly with Design Director and/or Creative Director and takes an active lead in projects to develop compelling brand identities and designs. Is instrumental in driving creative work forward, while leading, supporting and mentoring more junior members of the design team. Possesses excellent conceptual and presentation skills, captivating and engaging clients.

  • Highly proficient in design software such as Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Figma, in order to execute projects in the most efficient manner.
  • Ability to translate sketches into refined executions of ideas, through to artwork stage.
  • Confident presenting work to client teams.
  • Confident preparing files for the production team.
  • Strong understanding of typography and layout.
  • Strong understanding of design for digital output.
  • Strong sense of art direction for photography and film is a bonus.
Creative Input
  • Develops design concepts from initial research right through to execution.
  • Is responsible for the creation of presentation standard visuals.
  • Takes responsibility for creative development on projects, ensuring creative output answers the brief.
  • Presents concepts internally and is involved directly in client facing meetings, to present creative work or to support Design Directors and Creative Directors in design conversations.
  • Drives forward work for delivery and ensuring output is of the highest quality and has impeccable attention to detail.
  • Confident handling production and implementation as well as managing production partners and performing quality control.
  • Manages and briefs work to third party partners (both print and digital outputs).
Team Collaboration + Leadership
  • Leads project teams, working directly with midweight, juniors and interns to ensure tasks are evenly distributed and priorities are established.
  • Reports to design directors and creative directors and presents ideas and developments at key check-in stages.
  • Fosters a positive and collaborative work environment with other team members and other departments; understands requirements and contributes to the overall creative process.
  • Inspires, educates and supports junior team members along the journey of a project.
Administration
  • Adheres to filing protocol and weekly submission of timesheets.
  • Refers to the studio schedule to effectively plan workload and priorities between the team members.
Construct Communication
  • Supports with Construct communications as directed (credentials, developing case studies, social assets).
  • Creates credentials documents for the project management and new business team.
  • To focus and unite the business around Constructs strategic objectives as set out and agreed with Together Group.
  • To retain, celebrate and share our outstanding track record in strategic and creative delivery of brand transformation.
  • To build commercial confidence and proactive leadership vision to allow the business to grow and develop
  • To develop, represent and defend the highest creative and craft standards, always pushing to deliver the most creative, refined and valuable solutions for our clients
  • To proactively build valued client and collaborator relationships
  • To defend our unique positioning in industry and in group - especially around Ultra luxury and hospitality.
  • To confidently communicate our achievements, formalise processes, clarify internal standards and expectations and ensure our people reflect our values and ambition at all times.
