Junior Designer

• Continuously develops design skills, seeking feedback, and refining techniques under the mentorship of more experienced designers.
• Constantly looking to develop skills in design software and digital mediums.
• Open to learning new design programmes, and pursues these skills in any ‘down time’ or while awaiting feedback from other team members.
• Stays updated on design trends, industry best practices, and emerging technologies.

• Provides support to the design team on various project deliverables, including in-depth research and creative exploration.
• Develops creative concepts under the direction of the creative lead.
• Sets up and formats creative presentations.
• Translates conceptual ideas into visual representations that effectively communicate the intended idea or message.
• Provides input and ideas during brainstorming sessions, contributing to the creative development of projects.
• Executes design tasks based on established guidelines, ensuring adherence to brand standards and project specifications.
• Incorporates feedback from senior designers to refine and improve design deliverables.

• Fosters a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Provides wider studio support as required.
• Proactively plans time and identifies if information is missing or unclear.
• Collaborates with team members and other departments to understand design requirements and contributes to the overall creative process.

• Maintains tidy project folders, follows file naming protocol and weekly submission of timesheets.
• Maintains a tidy workspace and also supports in keeping the studio tidy and organised.

• Supports with Construct communications as directed.
• Creates credentials documents for the project management and new business team.
