Not Again, Yet Again

It's that time of the year again, and this time, we've decided not to design yet another christmas mailer. Instead, we decided to give away some beautifully printed posters. The posters are printed with woodblock letterpress by Hand and Eye printery in east London. Printing with old wood blocks means that every single poster prints slightly different, and the texture that blocks give is just pure magic. To win one of these beauties, you have to come up with the most overused christmas card design, it can be yours or something you've found. Alternatively, you can also submit your best Christmas cracker joke. The top 10 submissions will get a poster sent to them to a UK address. All submissions to be made through our Construct Twitter using #constructxmas.

New Angles on Hammersmith

Last friday Development Securities celebrated the topping out of their new exciting project, 10 Hammersmith Grove. Construct designed a fold-out promotional teaser for the event. The format has some interesting folds that hold it together and reveals an information card inside. The poster was printed on Omnia and the inside card was duplexed Colorplan with Merazian paper. We hear that it went down rather well with the crowd.

Astley Clarke logotype & mark

Our friends at Astley Clarke have launched their new logotype and logomark designed here at Construct. The lettering for the logotype is based on the Schneidler typeface, which we crafted to add a more luxurious and unique look to match the beautiful jewelry they produce. The butterfly is taken as the inherited brand motif since Bec Astley Clarke's grandfather's had a huge collection of Swallowtails he used on his scientific research.
